Flom Kjetting: Premium chains, Made in Norway
- Published 4 December 2025; updated 25 March 2026; estimated reading time 2 minutes. Flom Kjetting was founded in Drangedal in 1985 and supplies wheel chains, load-securing products and lifting equipment. Its Blåmann chain range is widely used by Norwegian transport operators; the company also supplies construction, agriculture and tractor chains. The article says it has 11 employees and serves machinery with wheels.
- CEO Ingunn Leine Flom says products are made locally using renewable Norwegian energy, reducing long-distance transport. The company has received the Made in Norway label, which it says documents domestic production and differentiates it amid confusion between Norwegian-branded and Norwegian-made goods.
- Norway is the company’s main market. It hopes the label will encourage buyers to choose locally made chains, including agricultural customers who already value Norwegian food and sourcing. Planned label use spans the website, online store, catalogues, in-store materials, social media, email signatures, presentations, packaging and workwear, with particular emphasis on the Blåmann line.
