Improving health research collaboration with user-friendly and secure software
- Published 1 July 2025; updated 25 March 2026; estimated reading time 3 minutes. The article presents Norwegian healthtech firm Ledidi’s platform for collecting, structuring, analysing and securely sharing sensitive clinical data. It says the platform is used in 25 countries and by several Norwegian health trusts for research and quality registries. CEO/co-founder Einar Martin Aandahl describes the privacy-by-design system as a flexible self-service tool for researchers and clinicians; quality registries can track the full patient journey and compare outcomes across similar hospitals.
- The page says the platform integrates data from multiple health-record systems, automates aggregation and reporting, and offers administrators structured real-time data for oversight and resource allocation. It claims security protocols support compliance with GDPR and HIPAA; these are claims made by the article, not independently verified here. CRO Kent Jordet says the software reduces training burden and improves collaboration among research, clinical and administrative teams.
- Ledidi identifies the UK as a market gaining traction and says its software can help precision-medicine research, where smaller patient cohorts require stronger cross-institution collaboration. The article names a collaboration with CMR Surgical and agreements/customers including Pfizer, Photocure, Sensocure, Weill Cornell Medicine and multiple NHS Trusts.
