Norsk Tekstilgjenvinning (NTG) operates a textile waste receiving, sorting and recycling facility in Sandefjord. The company says recycled fibres are processed into raw materials for new textile production, returning material to the value chain. The article describes NTG as Norway’s first textile-to-textile recycling facility; this is the publisher’s claim. NTG also says it works to reduce consumption and extend textile lifespans.

NTG received the Made in Norway label. The article says it identifies the company’s recycled fibres as produced in Norway, which NTG views as a differentiator among brands, spinners and manufacturers in Norway and Europe that use recycled fibres. NTG plans to display the label on fibre packaging, at its exhibition stand, in presentations, and on digital channels including social media.
