  • Exhibition ran 23–25 April 2024 at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The 20th Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development event served the humanitarian/development community across the Middle East, Africa and globally, with NGOs, UN agencies, charities, government, aid, education and construction providers. The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Abu Dhabi was a partner; related industries: agritech/food, architecture/construction and health/life science.
  • Innovation Norway invited Norwegian healthcare, shelf-stable/nutrient-dense food, construction and other humanitarian-supply companies to promote sustainable solutions to UN and NGO project decision-makers in Dubai. The page says firms could arrange regional/local partner meetings and potentially speak at DIHAD workshops; the Embassy sponsored a Norwegian networking dinner.
  • Fee: USD 4,000 for a “Meet and Greet Stand,” covering direct pavilion exhibiting costs, possible workshop speaking and the networking dinner. Travel and hotels were extra; because it was Innovation Norway-funded, the Trade Fair Funding scheme could not be used for additional funding. Contact: Project Manager Ahmad Hamdan (ahmad.hamdan@innovationnorway.no). The page links to DIHAD’s event site and specifies ESG/responsible-business, UN Guiding Principles, OECD guidance and due-diligence expectations.
