Terms and conditions for company pages on BusinessNorway.com
- Terms dated 15 June 2026. The page defines Innovation Norway (IN), customer, company page, customer requirements, submitted content, registration page and the agreement. Company pages are intended to connect international businesses/investors with Norwegian providers of technology, products and services.
- Eligibility and registration: customers must meet IN’s published requirements throughout the agreement. Registration is generally through the registration page and only binds once IN confirms it in writing.
- Both parties agree to cooperate loyally, answer requests without undue delay, and promptly disclose relevant matters or expected project delays. IN must remind customers to update their pages and make reasonable efforts to keep the system available and limit disruptions.
- Customer duties: provide accurate, complete and current registration information; document eligibility on request; update company-page and contact details at least annually; ensure submitted content does not infringe others’ rights; permit IN to use content on the company page and IN digital channels to promote the customer or industry; credit creators where needed; and obtain valid consent from people included in content for IN’s personal-data processing.
- Company pages are stated to be free for now; IN will give reasonable notice if fees change. Customers pay their own costs for account management and content creation/maintenance.
- Personal-data processing is described in IN’s privacy declaration. IN may process details of people holding roles at customer organisations (such as managers, board members and contacts); customers must inform those individuals about IN’s processing.
- Ethics and responsible conduct: customers must follow applicable laws and permits, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and OECD responsible-business guidelines (including due diligence, heightened in conflict-affected settings), maintain risk-appropriate internal controls, address harmful incidents/behaviour, implement risk-reduction measures IN requires, and report material breaches.
- Breach and liability: parties must notify the other promptly of breach; material breach may allow termination after written notice and a reasonable chance to remedy. Indirect-loss damages are excluded except for gross negligence or wilful misconduct by the claimant/responsible parties. Customers indemnify IN for claims arising from breach of their clause 6 duties. IN disclaims liability for customer third-party relationships formed through the page and page inaccessibility. Either party may terminate immediately on specified insolvency/creditor proceedings, subject to mandatory law.
- Changes and duration: IN may make minor changes with prior notice; major changes require customer consent. IN may transfer its rights and duties with prior notice. IN may terminate on three months’ notice; a customer may terminate immediately by notifying IN.
- Norwegian law governs. If negotiation or mediation fails, disputes may go to Norwegian courts at IN’s domicile.
