  • Published 24 June 2026. Alpha Energy offers a portable micro hydropower plant for remote communities and disaster response. It uses turbines and ejectors near water sources, can be preinstalled in a 20-foot container and brought into operation within days. A companion purification unit uses ozone, filtration and reverse osmosis, powered by the turbine; the plant can also run on solar and other energy sources.
  • The page frames electricity and safe drinking water access as major needs, especially in rural sub-Saharan Africa. It says the system can produce about 44,000 kWh annually, has few moving parts and low maintenance, and is suitable for maritime cooling/firewater, district heating, food processing and land-based fish farms where pressurised fluid flow is available. Installations are EX-certified where required; the technology has been tested in maritime applications.
  • Alpha Energy, founded in 2015, cites a USD 26 billion small-scale renewable-energy market projection for 2025. The page links the solution to UN goals 6, 7 and 9.
