From the public capture. Detailed factual notes from Business Norway. Statements and figures reflect the source at the time of capture.

  • Published 25 October 2022 and updated 30 September 2026. Arda Energy describes modular, turnkey systems combining commercial equipment with in-house components and control/safety software to extract hydrogen, electricity, heat and CO₂ from biogas. Units can be located beside biogas plants or gas networks and scaled for decentralised production; the company says they need little space and can make small-scale hydrogen at competitive prices.
  • The page says biogas is underused despite potential to meet a significant share of gas demand. Arda’s system is intended to improve energy recovery, support hydrogen infrastructure and provide flexible supply alongside renewables. Captured biogenic CO₂ can be stored and used in food production, greenhouses, cooling and industry instead of being released; the page also highlights possible benefits to agriculture and transport.
  • Arda’s first hydrogen/CO₂ system was described as being in testing with commercial launch targeted for early 2022, while electricity and heat versions were forecast for 2023–24. These dates are past, but the page still labels availability “Soon available,” so current commercial status is unclear. It cites a 2020 biogas market valuation and older 2021–28 forecast.
