  • Published 14 February 2023 and updated 30 September 2026. Argeo uses uncrewed surface vehicles and autonomous underwater vehicles equipped with multiple sensors, including proprietary electromagnetic systems, to map seabeds and inspect offshore assets. Data is uploaded to a cloud imaging platform for browser access and can reveal boulders, difficult ground conditions and unexploded ordnance before construction.
  • Services include geophysical and environmental surveys, pipeline and cable inspections and positioning, plus ROV maintenance and repair. The page gives examples of locating and repairing cables moved or exposed by trawlers or shifting sand. Survey data can inform inspection and maintenance across an installation’s lifetime. The page repeats one asset-management sentence twice.
  • Argeo claims its smaller autonomous vehicles can use up to 99% less fuel, complete work two to four times faster than surface vessels, mobilise quickly and operate underwater with less weather impact. Their smaller size and quieter operation are said to reduce emissions and disturbance to marine life. The listing connects the work to UN goals 7 and 14.
  • The page cites 17,398 MW of new offshore wind commissioned in 2021 and expects further growth. It says over 20 projects could be added annually in its initial-survey market and identifies Europe and North and South America as attractive regions. Argeo also serves other ocean industries, including aquaculture.
