From the public capture. Detailed factual notes from Business Norway. Statements and figures reflect the source at the time of capture.

  • Published 13 December 2024 and updated 30 September 2026. Nordic Batteries designs and makes eNERGY high-energy and ePOWER high-power modules in Norway using Norwegian-manufactured cells and automated assembly. Modules can be used alone or in racks; complete packs include battery management, cooling, cell-level temperature sensing and barriers between cells. The company says it can tailor cell arrangements to voltage and capacity needs.
  • Its Kongsberg robotic pilot line uses renewable electricity and is intended to lower emissions and make local production cost-efficient. Nordic Batteries says domestic capacity can improve Norway’s and Europe’s supply security and reduce dependence on Asian battery supply chains. Products are being prepared for EU battery-passport information, emissions calculations and value-chain assessments.
  • The page identifies energy storage and commercial vehicles as markets and cites a EUR 25 billion 2030 market estimate for energy-storage systems and other segments excluding passenger vehicles. The availability label still says “Soon available” and “Available in spring 2025,” so current ordering status is unclear. Links to UN goals 7 and 9.
