Linx fleet and asset-management platform
Published 21 March 2023; updated 21 September 2026; 3-minute read. Cognia Technology’s cloud-based Linx platform gathers and structures data from trucks, construction equipment, manufacturers and public sources such as the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. Its modules cover fleet analysis and asset management, maintenance, regulatory compliance and driver scorecards. The brand-neutral SaaS service requires no installation and works on phones, tablets and computers.
The article says the platform can help small transport and construction firms improve vehicle and machine utilisation, planning, safety, maintenance and communication. Driver improvement programs are associated with a typical 5–10% fuel and emissions reduction. The system is also positioned to reduce equipment wear, extend service intervals and lower parts costs. The page cites transport as responsible for nearly a quarter of global fuel-combustion CO₂ emissions and construction materials/processes for 11% of global emissions.
Cognia says it is entering Scandinavian markets before wider European expansion and translating Linx into multiple languages. Potential partners or users include finance and insurance businesses, statistics organisations and public agencies. Linked UN SDGs: 8, 9 and 12.
