  • Published 13 December 2022; updated 23 March 2026; 3-minute read. Connect the Dots offers a VR training tool that places healthcare staff in a simulated hospital room to learn and practise procedures. The page describes individual and group training, including collaboration across locations. Its virtual patient supports assessment with the ABCDE method, can turn his head and cough, and can deteriorate in response to care. The system was under continued development when the article was published.

  • The product is presented as a way to increase access to practice despite limited time and the cost of in-person training. The article says it could help staff recognise deterioration sooner, build confidence and competency, reduce temporary staffing needs and lower training expense. A doctor quoted in the article reports moving from treating 10 epilepsy patients per year to monitoring 131 without spending additional time on patient-centred work. The company planned modules for NEWS2 and ISBAR and further international expansion.

  • The page cites studies indicating staff interest in VR as a supplement for clinical knowledge and positive learning outcomes and satisfaction compared with traditional training. Connect the Dots received Women TechEU funding. Linked UN SDGs: 3 and 8. Public contact: Siva Snarby, CEO and Co-founder, siva@connectthedots.no.
