DP-IoT multipurpose sensor and edge controller
Published 7 July 2022; updated 23 March 2026; 2-minute read. The page presents Intrack as a multipurpose IoT sensor and controller for monitoring and controlling industrial equipment, assets, processes and events in green technology applications. Its four components—asset tracker, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) gateway, BLE mesh sensor and BLE beacon—can be used separately or together.
Intrack tracks outdoors with GPS/GNSS and indoors through BLE beacon positioning; detects movement, temperature and humidity; and connects to other wired or wireless sensors through BLE 5. It can also function as a BLE 5 gateway and comes with multiple battery and power options. The page says local algorithms process sensor data at the edge, reducing data transfers and improving security and battery life; it reports a 500-metre BLE radio range without an external antenna. Revision 6 is offered with external BLE, LTE and GPS antennas.
The article says the unit can be rapidly configured and deployed. LTE/NB-IoT narrowband is described as extending coverage, including underground, and reducing costs compared with 2G/3G technologies. A lightweight UDP protocol reduces power consumption; data encryption is optional. Remote control is through an API tailored to the application. The BLE mesh sensor can be supplied with 10 combinations of inertial and environmental sensors.
Intrack is sold standalone with a subscription that forwards data to endpoints, or as part of the DP-IoT ecosystem. The article says DP-IoT offers the product B2B as a white-label concept. Market-size figures are historical forecasts quoted on the page: IoT at USD 1.1 billion by 2026 and asset tracking from USD 17 billion in 2020 to USD 34 billion by 2026. Linked UN SDG: 9.
