  • Published 13 December 2022; updated 21 September 2026; 3-minute read. Eco Water’s preassembled Eco Rack Unit connects to a building’s incoming water supply and is marketed for homes, offices, clinics, hotels and schools. The page says its five-stage filtration removes up to 99.9% of contaminants, including chlorine, turbidity, parasites, pathogenic bacteria, particles, humus and other sediment, along with unwanted odour, colour and taste. The technology is said to retain minerals and trace elements.

  • The system uses water pressure rather than electricity and does not add chemicals, which the company says reduces energy and operating costs and allows use where electricity is unavailable. The article says it addresses variable water quality in developed countries as well as seasonal/raw-water quality issues in developing countries. It says avoiding bottled water can reduce plastic waste.

  • Eco Water cites use in a UN field camp in Somalia and says its Eco Rack is used mainly in Scandinavia; the company claimed 50% of Norwegian dental offices had purchased it. Other products include Eco Rescue Flex for field camps, field hospitals and mobile kitchens, delivered through work with the UN, WHO and humanitarian organisations. The article quotes a projected water-purifier market of USD 45 billion by 2027 (historical forecast) and says Eco Water sought international distributors able to assemble units locally.
