Farmable orchard-management app
Published 23 March 2023; updated 21 September 2026; 2-minute read. Farmable’s cloud-based mobile app lets tree-crop growers record and monitor field operations. Managers can view activity data in real time, use it for operational decisions, and produce records for reporting to authorities and marketing organisations. The page says the app is free and designed to be accessible regardless of farm size, budget or technical skill.
The app tracks orchard inputs down to row level, including water, energy, fertiliser and pesticides. The company says this improves control, crop yields and resource efficiency while reducing runoff, unnecessary vehicle/equipment use and costs. Market context includes global fruit/vegetable spending of USD 2.8 trillion in 2015 and a projection of USD 5.9 trillion by 2030, plus three million farms in target markets Australia, New Zealand, North America and Western Europe; these are dated data/projections.
