  • Published 10 December 2023; updated 30 September 2026; 3-minute read. Aneo Build provides charging hardware and consulting to electrify construction/building sites, from needs assessment and planning to delivery, operation and support. Hardware includes mobile battery/charging containers, wheeled fast-charging trailers that can be brought to equipment, and battery-free mobile fast chargers for sites with sufficient grid capacity. Larger battery containers are aimed at sites with limited grid capacity and high power demand.

  • The service uses equipment telemetry and AI-based energy management to optimise consumption, including shifting demand toward lower-price periods. Aneo says this can lower energy cost by an average 5–10%. It reports 98% operational uptime and says its work has helped customers save 900,000 kg CO₂e. Claimed co-benefits include reduced air/noise pollution and compliance with zero-emission requirements/public tender standards.

  • Aneo Build reports over 60 projects in Norway and planned market expansion to Sweden in 2024, then Finland, the Netherlands and Germany; these are dated plans. It was a finalist in Norway’s Construction Industry Innovation Award 2023. The article notes zero-emission construction-site requirements in cities including Amsterdam, Oslo and Stockholm.
