  • Havbruksloggen is an all-in-one software system that gathers fish-farm information in one place, down to individual components. It displays graphical facility views, certifications, sensor data, component lifespans and links to suppliers/product registers. User management lets vendors, service providers and authorities work directly in the system.
  • The page says inadequate farm maintenance can contribute to fish escapes, disease outbreaks and biofouling. The software is intended to help farmers see production assets, identify/fix problems, improve welfare and capacity, reduce escapes and address environmental issues. It integrates remotely operated underwater-vehicle data and can automatically generate regulatory reports.
  • The article describes increasing demand for digital monitoring and maintenance tools as aquaculture grows. Havbruksloggen had been used on Norwegian fish farms since 2012 and was being developed with major aquaculture businesses. SDGs shown: 12 and 14.
