From the public capture. Detailed factual notes from Business Norway. Statements and figures reflect the source at the time of capture.

  • Published March 21, 2023; updated September 21, 2026; estimated reading time 2 minutes. Status: available. Industry: Architecture and construction.
  • CliWi (“Climate Winner”) is HeatWork’s portable hydronic construction heater, using a fluid heat source such as hot district-heating water or glycol in a closed system. Its patented heat-exchange technology and round shape are described as distributing heat more efficiently than conventional heaters; filter options are also available.
  • The page says construction sites traditionally use fossil-fuel heaters to keep buildings warm and dry, with high emissions and low efficiency. Compared with diesel burners, CliWi is said to cut fossil-fuel use by up to 90%; with district heat, the article says it can be 100% emission-free. It is described as lightweight, easy to handle, quiet, non-toxic and with no fire hazard because its surface temperature stays below 100°C.
  • The product portfolio was developed for construction drying/heating and is described as applicable worldwide and potentially useful in cooling, pest control, damage restoration and agriculture. HeatWork is based in Narvik and says it has more than 15 years of hydronic-heating experience serving customers from the Arctic to Antarctica. Awards mentioned: the Norwegian construction industry’s Innovation Award (2017), a Norwegian Liberal Party environmental award (2018), and a marketing award in 2018. SDG 9 shown. Embedded video reports unable to play; no transcript exposed.
  • Contact: Kristin Markussen, Marketing Manager, kristin@heatwork.com; phone reveal control collapsed. Company: HEATWORK NORWAY AS, Skarvenesveien 6, 8514 Narvik, Norway; heatwork.com.
