From the public capture. Detailed factual notes from Business Norway. Statements and figures reflect the source at the time of capture.

  • Published November 10, 2022; updated September 21, 2026; estimated reading time 2 minutes. Status: available. Markets: Europe. Industries: Energy; Industrial production; Agritech and food production.
  • HighLift by Olvondo recovers waste heat or district heat and upgrades it to high-temperature process heat or steam. The article says it can increase process-heat temperature by more than 100°C and supply steam up to 200°C. It uses helium as the working fluid, described as non-toxic, non-flammable and with zero global-warming potential.
  • The system is positioned as an alternative to electric, oil- or gas-fired boilers, which use purchased energy while industrial waste heat is discarded. One HighLift unit is said to cut CO₂ emissions by nearly 1,300 metric tons annually compared with conventional steam generation—equated to about 800 private cars. It can also provide cooling, useful where industries need both heat and cooling.
  • TINE, Norway’s largest dairy producer, is cited as having installed three units at its Ålesund facility, reducing CO₂ emissions there by 66%. The article identifies process industries, dairy and other high-steam users as target markets.
  • The page cites European potential of 174 TWh, or 8.7% of industrial heat demand, addressable by heat pumps delivering up to 150°C. Olvondo had signed a long-term European distributor agreement with Tetra Pak. SDGs shown: 7 and 9. Embedded video reports unable to play; no transcript exposed.
  • Contact: Stefano Vittor, CEO, stv@olvondotech.no; phone reveal control collapsed. Company: OLVONDO TECHNOLOGY AS, Wichmannvegen 3, 5420 Rubbestadneset, Norway; olvondotech.no.
