Intelecy machine-learning software for industrial efficiency
- Published March 23, 2023; updated September 21, 2026; estimated reading time 2 minutes. Status: available. Categories: Technology / Artificial intelligence and machine learning; Industrial production; Agritech and food production.
- Intelecy offers cloud software for predictive maintenance and process optimization using Industrial IoT sensor data such as airflow, humidity, pressure and temperature. It identifies production anomalies early, forecasts product quality, and helps locate energy- and emissions-intensive process steps. The company says reducing energy waste can cut CO₂ emissions by up to 40% without reducing output.
- The article frames manufacturing as responsible for 30% of global greenhouse-gas emissions and says industrial operations often run at 50–70% efficiency because of equipment inefficiency, defective output, stoppages and slowdowns. It notes that factories collect extensive sensor data but may struggle to handle thousands of data points.
- The software is said to integrate with common industrial protocols and DCS/SCADA systems. It is intended for operators, production engineers and managers without AI/ML expertise; two two-hour training sessions are normally enough to get started, with company support during the first months.
- Suggested sectors include food and beverage, mining, chemicals, infrastructure, energy, utilities and agriculture. Intelecy was founded in 2017. Historical article text lists DuPont, Heidelberg Cement Group and TINE as customers and says the company expected to double its customer base in 2020; this is a past expectation, not a current forecast. SDG 9 shown. Embedded video present; no transcript exposed.
