- Nordic Green Products (NGP) supplies gel and fluid cleaners certified as environmentally preferable under European HOCNF regulations. They remove corrosion, mill scale, barnacles, humus, calcium, algae, lime and other deposits. Gels are sprayed on and left for 2–24 hours depending on dirt level, then rinsed with a standard high-pressure washer. The page says they can replace acid washing on stainless steel or sandblasting for light to medium corrosion. Fluid products are used by dipping objects and rinsing; they are described as effective for flushing closed piping systems such as cooling and heating pipes.
- The products are non-toxic and use only ingredients on the HOCNF PLONOR (Pose Little or No Risk) list. The article says they can be used in drinking-water systems and do not damage plastics, gaskets or paint, making them suitable for painted surfaces, aluminium, stainless steel, concrete and other sensitive materials. They are described as biodegradable and safe for direct discharge to sea.
