  • Tunable’s T2500 CEMS analyser is intended for continuous emissions measurement on ships and industrial sites. It measures SO₂, CO₂ and NOₓ and can also analyse methane, ethane and propane in exhaust gas. Its MEMS tunable filter and fast-exchange sample cell are described as providing accurate measurements and rapid response. The unit is compact for new installations/retrofits, with no moving parts and maintenance-free sensors.
  • The article says continuous measurements help shipowners and industrial operators monitor combustion, report emissions and comply with rules including EU 2015/757 and MARPOL Annex VI. It describes the analyser as long-lived and lower-cost than conventional systems, but gives no comparative cost, accuracy or lifetime data.
  • The article cites air-pollution health effects and maritime regulation context, and a global CEMS market forecast of nearly USD 4 billion by 2027; the forecast is now historical. Tunable is described as a startup rooted in SINTEF MiNaLab.
  • Linked to SDGs 3 (Good health and well-being), 9 (Industry, innovation and infrastructure), 14 (Life below water) and 15 (Life on land).
